Personal data when you contact us
Controller. SIA "VILSA", reg. no. LV40003534751, Inderi, Siguldas novads, LV-2151, Latvia, email info@vilsa.lv, phone +371 29119123.
What we receive. When you fill in one of our forms (contact form, fence quote request, post or Postsaver configurator, catalogue request), we receive what you enter: name, company, email, phone, message, the products or configuration you chose and, if you attach one, a file (for example a fence plan or drawing). With the request we also receive the page and language it was sent from, the time, and a record that you confirmed this privacy policy. We do not store your IP address with the request.
Purpose and legal basis. To answer your request, prepare an offer and contact you about it. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The record of your confirmation and the spam protection rely on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A phone number or email is needed so that we can reply; the other fields are optional. We do not use your data for advertising and make no automated decisions about you.
Who receives the data. SIA "VILSA" staff who answer the request. Our service providers process the data technically: website hosting Vercel Inc. (USA), delivery of the form by email JKonsult (the website's developer and maintainer), email service Google Ireland Limited, and spam protection Cloudflare, Inc. (see below). We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone else.
Transfers outside the EEA. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it. Requests that did not lead to an order are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted together with any attached files. If a request leads to an order, the data is kept as long as the contract and the law require (for example accounting rules).
Your rights. You may access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@vilsa.lv. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).
